xiaomi-mi3Earlier this year, we brought you word that the upcoming Xiaomi Mi3 smartphone will arrive with high end specifications, including a quad-core Snapdragon 800 chipset that ought to make this a blazing fast smartphone. Well, apparently there has been yet another image leak of the Xiaomi Mi3, where the alleged prototype is said to arrive with a 5.5” display at Full HD resolution, making it a marked upgrade from its predecessor that carried a smaller 4.3” display at 720p resolution.

Assuming the rest of the rumors surrounding the Xiaomi Mi3 hold up, then we could be looking at a beast of a smartphone, where it will feature 3GB RAM, a 13-megapixel shooter that is located at the back with a 5-megapixel front-facing camera for self portraits and video calls, NFC support, Hi-Fi quality stereo and a 3,600mAh battery to make sure everything else is running fine and dandy. This would clearly make the Xiaomi Mi3 a decent competitor to the other high end smartphones from various manufacturers. Hopefully more official details concerning the Xiaomi Mi3 would be revealed in due time. So far, an August release date has been quoted, but nothing official has been revealed yet.
