verizon-htc-one-leak

Verizon is going to release quite a few premium Android devices this month. Among those devices is the HTC One. All other major U.S. carriers have been selling this device for months now, Verizon is yet to launch it on its network. Time and again we’ve heard that the device will be released soon but the Big Red hasn’t given a concrete release date. Today the signup page for Verizon HTC One went live, revealing the carrier branding that has been plastered on the HTC One. Apart from that, it doesn’t reveal any secrets, particularly the one we’ve all been waiting for, the confirmed release date.

The purpose of a signup page is to get people to submit their email addresses so that they can be informed when the device becomes available. No hints have been provided regarding the release date, the signup page says that HTC One will be coming to Verizon later this summer. Previous rumors had pegged the release on August 1st, but that didn’t happen. Then we heard that it might take place on August 15th, only for another rumor to come out of the woods and claim that August 23rd is the day when Verizon finally releases the HTC One. August 23rd is the best bet right now, a number of different sources believe that it may possibly be the release date. Nevertheless, we can’t be really sure until the carrier makes an official announcement.
