Nokia “Sirius” Tablet Gets Bluetooth Certification

sirius-specsIt seems that the much whispered about Nokia Windows RT tablet, which also goes by the nickname “Sirius”, has picked up its Bluetooth certification under the model number of RM-114. Not only that, it seems that this particular slate also went through the GFX benchmark test while carrying the model number RX-114. According to Mobile ad network AdDuplex, they also stumbled upon the model number RX-114 in its logs. Other leaks in the past that revolved around the Nokia Windows RT slab have seen it carry the codename “Sirius”, which has also appeared on the GFX benchmark test as the device has been listed as “Jinsh Sirius”.

The GFX benchmark test points to a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor that has been paired with the Adreno 330 GPU. A leaked model of the tablet in red apparently carries the Verizon brand, so I guess we have a slight idea on at least one carrier where this tablet will be made available on. Do you think that Nokia’s foray into the Windows environment has been a fruitful one so far? After all, with Microsoft having picked up Nokia’s phone business for $7 billion plus, we can be sure that whatever Nokia decides to churn out in the future will be a whole lot Microsoft-centric.
