Lumia_929_front_back

Recently Nokia has sent out invites to an event that will be held on the 22nd of October where it is expected that the Nokia Lumia 1520 will be launched alongside Nokia’s “Sirius” tablet, the Lumia 2520. In any case the rumors are saying that the phone will arrive on both AT&T and Verizon, and thanks to @evleaks, new images of the Lumia 1520 variant for Verizon has since been leaked. As you can see in the image above, the Verizon’s branding can be seen on the device and below it there is also the 4G LTE logo, hinting that the handset will be compatible with Verizon’s 4G LTE network.

@evleaks has also confirmed that the handset will be available in both black and white (at least as far as Verizon is concerned) which corroborates the earlier leaked photo. Interestingly enough it seems that the phone could be known as the Lumia 929 on Verizon, rather than the Lumia 1520 which is for AT&T. In any case apart from the different color options and carrier availability, the rest of the phone’s hardware is expected to be similar. This includes a rumored 5” Full HD display along with a Qualcomm quad-core chipset under the hood. Either way we’ll keep our eyes peeled for more info, so check back with us later for additional updates.
