Heads up Verizon subscribers, if you’re looking forward to getting your hands on a new tablet, a leak by the ever-reliable @evleakshas revealed a tablet that could soon be launched on the carrier’s network by the name of the Ellipsis 7. Unfortunately apart from the name and the press rendering of the alleged device, not much else is known about the upcoming tablet, such as its price, specs, and availability, although if we had to venture a guess, we reckon the “7” in its name is most likely referring to a 7” display. The press rendering also reveals what appears to be a front-facing camera, so we guess that the tablet will have that feature as well, but apart from that it’s pretty much pure speculation at this point in time.

While Verizon did not comment on the leak of the press rendering, they did confirm that the name has been trademarked at the UTPTO which refers to a “wireless telecommunications device featuring transmission of voice, data, image and video,” which we guess is as close as a confirmation that we will get at this point in time. We’ll keep our eyes and ears peeled for an announcement of the tablet, so if you’re looking for some options as far as Android-based tablets are concerned, check back with us in the near future for more updates.
