gs3-vzw-updateIt was just last week that we talked about how T-Mobile has rolled out the Android 4.3 update for their Samsung Galaxy S3 LTE smartphone, news which will most probably leave Verizon owners of the Galaxy S3 wondering just when will it be their turn to enjoy the most recent operating system update. Well, it seems that all of that patient waiting has finally paid off, as we now know that Verizon’s Galaxy S3 is the next recipient of the Android 4.3 Jelly Bean update, bumping up the software version to JJSS15J.I535VRUCML1.

Inside this update will also come with the same features that can be found in the AT&T, Sprint and T-Mobile Galaxy S3 models, and that includes support for Samsung’s Galaxy Gear smartwatch. Assuming your Verizon branded Galaxy S3 has yet to receive the update, you can check out Menu > Settings > About Phone > System Updates. The moment the update is installed and everything is running fine and dandy, give it a long twirl to make sure that everything is all right. Other than support for the Samsung Galaxy Gear smartwatch, this update also lets you access the Verizon Cloud and gain an open door to 5MB of free storage that will be conveniently made available on your device, now how about that?
