If you happen to be an AT&T customer who owns either the Blackberry Q10 or the BlackBerry Z10, take note – either handset is set to receive the BlackBerry 10.2.1 software update today. In this particular update, do expect to check out enhancements as well as new features that will cater for both individual and enterprise customers. Among the BlackBerry 10.2.1 enhancements include an easier time in switching over to Blackberry 10, since the new device switch app enables users to migrate their data to a new BlackBerry device in a jiffy.

Other than that, there is also the ability to customize pinch gesture in order to filter BlackBerry Hub, as users can now instantly filter the message list in the Hub. The Hub can also be customized to show off unread messages alone, flagged messages, draft messages, meeting invites, sent messages, or level one alerts. The moment preferences are set, users are able to activate it with a simple pinch gesture on the Hub’s message list.

There will also be BlackBerry Natural Sound enhancements thrown into the mix as part of the BlackBerry 10.2.1 software update, where these sound improvements make BBM Voice and BBM Video chats sound as though you are in the same room with the other person on the line – useful when it comes to crucial communication. I am quite sure that no one would turn down a software update which will also help improve battery life, right? [Press Release]
