simcity4-27Good news Mac gamers, if you’ve had your eye on SimCity 4 and the Rush Hour expansion, you might be pleased to learn that the SimCity 4 Deluxe Edition will be officially arriving on the Mac today and will be an exclusive download from the Mac App Store. The bundle will basically consist of the core game and the expansion and will set gamers back $19.99, which in all honesty sounds like a good deal.

SimCity 4 was actually launched a little over a decade ago back in 2003 and while it might not feature the most amazing graphics, it does feature pretty fun gameplay that many gamers might remember fondly. This might also explain why the bundle is priced so affordably since the game is so old. In any case if you’re looking to relive some nostalgia from back in the day, perhaps this is a bundle you might want to check out.

Just to make things clear, this isn’t the SimCity launched back in 2013 and while many looked forward to playing that game, the various server issues made the game highly unplayable. This is despite the fact that for the most part and based on previous SimCity games, the game has typically been a single-player affair, so many are questioning the need to put it online (much like Diablo 3 which should not require an internet connection if you want to play single-player). In any case any of our readers planning on getting their hands on the game?
