droid-dna-updateIf you happen to still make use of a HTC Droid DNA from Verizon, then last week’s announcement concerning the release of the Android 4.4.2 KitKat and Sense 5.5 updates have finally become true. For those who have not received the OTA notification just yet, there is always the good old standby of performing the manual update.

Just in case you were wondering, the HTC Droid DNA will be on the receiving end of new features with this update, as BlinkFeed will see some changes made that allows it to be speedier in locating information and content sources. And if you never had a soft spot for BlinkFeed, then there is the option to turn it off, now how about that? Doing so is simple – all you need to do is to see to a pinch-in gesture on the home screen, choose Settings, and pick either BlinkFeed ON or BlinkFeed OFF.

Not only that, Location Settings will also see some changes, where a master switch makes things convenient so that one can turn all of them off simultaneously. The page itself has also been altered to help conserve battery power. A new Do Not Disturb feature has also been thrown into the mix so that your handset does not ring unless you allow it to, now how about that for all you corporate types?
