xbox oneMicrosoft’s E3 2014 conference will be held on the 9th of June and we’re sure many are looking forward to it. So far we have heard rumors of what could be unveiled, with one of the announcements to be about Halo 5: Guardians, which was announced just last week.

Well the good news is that you don’t have to wait until E3 itself because according to Microsoft’s Phil Spencer, they are planning on making several announcements ahead of E3 itself. This is according to a tweet by Spencer in response to a question asking if there will be any announcements ahead of E3.

According to Spencer, he answered in the affirmative, explaining that by announcing several things ahead of their press event, it would make things easier. “There are a few things coming prior to E3.  Show is getting set so easier to see what we want to talk about prior.” Unfortunately Spencer did not mention as to what kind of announcements will be made or when they will be made, but presumably Halo 5: Guardians was one of them.

Either way we can’t wait to see what kind of announcements Microsoft has planned ahead of and for E3 itself, so do check back with us in the coming weeks for the details! In the meantime who else is excited?
