Following the release of a new Battlelog update details about the next Battlefield game have appeared online. It appears that the title might be called Battlefield: Hardline, its internal codename is believed to be Havana. The game is reportedly being developed by Visceral Games. There have been rumors in the past about this police-against-thieves spin-off so its not surprising to see all of these details pop up.

Logo and artwork for the title were found on EA’s server today apart from a set of Battlefield: Hardline icons for PC, PS3, PS4, Xbox One and Xbox 360. This is in line with rumors that the new Battlefield game will be compatible with both previous and next generation consoles.

It looks like four soldier classes will be offered, namely Enforcer, Mechanic, Operator and Professional with new modes called Blood Money, Bomb Squad and Carrier Assault. Battlefield Daily, a Twitter account, also posted a list of new in-game awards for this title. Awards include skulls, weapons, police handcuffs as well as bag filled with money.

During its quarterly earnings call a few weeks back EA did say that a new unannounced game will come later this year. We’ll probably hear more about it at the upcoming E3 conference. Its just two weeks away so we won’t have to wait that long.
