tmobile-logoT-Mobile continues to shake up the mobile carrier industry by putting up for sale a couple of cellular-enabled tablets that will be accompanied by up to 200MB of free 4G data every single month for the entire duration of the tablet’s life, and these tablets will be up for grabs at participating Walmart stores in the U.S.

Doug Chartier, senior vice president, T-Mobile, said, “The vast majority of tablet owners today are trapped in the Wi-Fi zone. First there’s the extra cost of a cellular-enabled tablet. Then there’s the added cost of the big three carriers’ expensive data plans and the danger of overages. It doesn’t have to be this way. With these great connected tablets, you get free 4G data for the life of your tablet on the blazing fast T-Mobile network – and the freedom to live your life beyond the Wi-Fi zone – at an unheard of price.”

The Apollo Brands Trio AXS Quad Core tablet will retail for $179, where this 4G Android-powered tablet sports a 7.85” HD display, 16GB of internal memory, a couple of cameras, a microSD memory card slot, 1GB RAM, and a quad core 1.2GHz processor. Later next month, a second T-Mobile tablet will sell for $229, where it would be the HP Slate 7 HD that sports 4G connectivity, Google Play support, multi-touch HD wide-angle viewing, 16GB of internal memory, dual cameras, 1GB RAM, and a microSD memory card slot.

Those who would want over 200MB per month of Free Data for Life on their T-Mobile-connected tablet, there will be other highly affordable and flexible data plans to the discerning user. [Press Release]
