LG_G_Pad_Series_500If you had your eye on a new tablet, you might be interested to learn that LG has recently announced a trio of new tablets. These tablets come in the form of the LG G Pad 7.0, the G Pad 8.0, and the G Pad 10.1. All three tablets will differ in specs slightly, so we guess at the end of the day it’s really up to you to decide which size will be more appropriate.

Starting with the LG G Pad 7.0, the tablet will sport a 7.-inch IPS display with a resolution of 1280×800. It will be powered by a 1.2GHz quad-core processor with 1GB of RAM, 8GB of onboard storage and a microSD card slot for memory expansion. There will also be a rear-facing 3MP camera, a 1.3MP front-facing camera, a 4,000mAh battery, WiFi, and will run on Android, although LG did not mention which version.

Next up is the LG G pad 8.0. Just like the G Pad 7.0, this version will be larger with an 8-inch display, but other than that its resolution will remain the same. It will pack the same processor and RAM, but will come with 16GB of storage with support for microSD as well. The battery size has been bumped to 4,200mAh, and its camera has also been upgraded to a 5MP rear-facing camera and a 1.3MP front-facing camera.

Last but not least is the G Pad 10.1. This tablet will share the same specs as the 8-inch model, save for its display size which is 10.1-inches. Its battery will also be upgraded to an 8,000mAh battery, but other than that it appears to be the same model. All three tablets will also come with the Knock Code feature which is basically LG’s secure way of unlocking your tablet. Pricing and availability are expected to be shared locally.
