It really wouldn’t surprise anyone if LG has a “mini” variant of its latest flagship up its sleeve. This has sort of become a trend really, with most major manufacturers launching at least two variants of their flagship smartphones. While LG is yet to confirm the existence of this device some data taken from import-export tracker Zauba hints that the LG G3 mini may have a 4.5-inch display. Other expected specifications for the smartphone are also mentioned on the tracker.

If these specifications are correct then the LG G3 mini might have a 1.2GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon processor, possibly a Snapdragon 400, coupled with 2GB of RAM, 8GB of onboard storage, 5 megapixel rear camera, LTE connectivity, Android 4.4 KitKat and a 2,100mAh battery. They display won’t be as breathtaking as the Quad HD found on G3, instead the mini is reported to have a 720p 4.5-inch display.

Believed to carry model number LG D722 rumor has it that the LG G3 mini will be offered in the U.S. by AT&T. No word as yet on whether it will differ on design as compared to its high-end sibling, but seeing as how the LG G2 mini was a near replica of the G2, its possible that the design might not differ too much.

Absolutely no information about pricing or release is available right now so we’ll just have to wait and see how this plays out.
