galaxy fThe Samsung Galaxy F is an alleged premium handset that is made by Samsung. Supposedly this phone will feature the specs that the Galaxy S5 was rumored to have, such as a QHD display and a metallic build. Now we have seen some leaked photos of the device in the past, but thanks to the folks at PhoneArena, they have managed to get their hands on newly leaked photos of the device.

As you can see in the image above, the alleged Galaxy F is pictured next to the Samsung Galaxy S5. From the photos it’s hard to tell if the metallic build is true, or if the rumors of its QHD display are true either, since based on what we can see, both screens appear to be just as sharp as each other. However there are some subtle differences in design, such as the bezels on the Galaxy F which are noticeably thinner.

It looks like Samsung could be taking a page out of LG’s handbook with the LG G3 which sports from pretty thin bezels as well. While the phone is said to sport a metallic build, from what we’ve seen so far it’s hard to tell. LG attempted to create a metallic look as well but ended up using plastic and a metallic-lookalike design, but hopefully Samsung is not taking that route.

Based on the rumored specs, the Galaxy F will feature a QHD 5.3-inch display and will be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 805 processor. It is also rumored to come with 3GB of RAM and a 16MP rear-facing camera with optical image stabilization. The phone has also been rumored for a launch in June, but since we’re only halfway into the month, we guess there will still be time for Samsung to make the official announcement. Until then take it with a grain of salt for now.
