uspm-manager-s5So you are rocking out to the Samsung Galaxy S5, and simply cannot get enough of the smartphone, taking full advantage of its waterproof rating to go nuts at the swimming pool as well as by a river. Well, a phone might have plenty of features, but all of it would amount to nothing if it does not have the kind of battery life to last, right? Fret not, the Galaxy S5 saw Ultra Power Saving Mode debut alongside, where it will do its job to squeeze every last bit of energy from the battery, theoretically delivering another 24 hours of standby time on just 5% of battery power.

A new app known as Ultra Power Saving Mode (USPM) Manager has just been released, where it intends to stop the limit of a predefined list of apps that are allowed to run under UPSM. Do bear in mind that the ceiling of the number of apps running in UPSM will still remain intact at half a dozen, you will be now have a say in what other kinds of apps that you would like to be part of the six, and this should not prove to be of any issue so long the app will be able to be read by the Ultra Power Saving Mode framework. Any takers?
