Apple To Sell 75m iPhone 6 Units By End Of 2014 [Analyst]

apple_logoWill Apple’s iPhone 6 be its best selling iPhone to date? Well that seems to be the case with every iPhone Apple releases, with each iPhone model outselling its predecessor. However with the iPhone 6, one analyst seems to think that the phone will do much better than anticipated. According to analyst Amit Daryanani (via AppleInsider), he has forecasted that Apple will be able to sell 75 million iPhone 6 units before the end of the year.

This is actually an increase of 19 million units from his previous forecast of 56 million units. Back in 2013, Apple’s largest quarter was in December which saw the Cupertino company sell a whopping 51 million iPhone units, so safe to say that 75 million would break that record by a pretty huge margin.

It is not a stretch to think that the iPhone 6 could do better than its predecessor. After all if the rumors are to be believed, Apple will finally be delivering one feature that iPhone customers have been asking for for the past few years, which is a larger display. The iPhone 6 has been rumored to come in either a 4.7-inch or 5.5-inch display.

However there have been rumors suggesting that there could be delay in the production of the 5.5-inch iPhone 6, so we’re not sure if Apple could produce that many units to sell in the first place. In any case these are merely the opinions of an analyst, but what do you guys think? Could Apple manage to sell a whopping 75 million iPhone 6 units before the end of the year?
