iphone-6-battery

Since we’re less than a month away from the time Apple is expected to announce its new iPhones the pace of rumors regarding these new devices has picked up. Almost every other day we get to see a leak about a component that’s allegedly included in the upcoming smartphones and its exactly the same today. A picture has emerged of purported 4.7-inch iPhone 6 batteries providing a glimpse of the actual capacity that iPhone fans can expect.

The previous Apple flagship, iPhone 5, has a 1,440mAh battery. Most of its rivals have gone beyond 2,000mAh batteries and some have even used this to poke fun at Apple in their marketing materials.

This time around Apple is expected to improve its battery game. As per this leaked picture the 4.7-inch iPhone 6 may have a 1,810mAh battery. Another recent leak hinted that the 5.5-inch iPhone 6 may have a battery that’s close to 3,000mAh, so Apple may address a rather popular concern that’s often raised by both fans and critics of its smartphone.

However already there are conflicting reports about the battery capacity. An analyst recently claimed that Apple will ship the 4.7-inch iPhone 6 with a 2,100mAh battery. The company is mum on its future iPhone plans so we’ll not know for sure until it makes an announcement. That is expected to happen on September 9th, 2014.
