Pebble launched its Pebble Steel in January this year and today, the Palo Alto-based startup expanded its original Pebble lineup with the addition of three new models. The new models labeled Hot Pink, Fresh Green, and Fly Blue will surely appeal to hipsters and fashionistas. Priced at $150, the new smartwatches will be offered in a limited number, so, if you are interested you better hurry to buy one, before they are sold out. During the briefing, Myriam Joire, Pebble’s Chief Evangelist, told me that it was very  difficult to get the watch body to match the band color, the design team had to go through a significant amount of experimentations before they found the perfect colors. Three new faces have been specifically designed for the Limited Edition, see them in the picture above and a new Weather channel is launching todaya s well.

According to the company, there are now 400,000 Pebble on wrists that can access over 3,200 applications. Unlike the Samsung Gear lineup and the recent LG G Watch, Pebble is compatible with both iOS and Android smartphones, and its battery life is significantly better 5-7 days vs. one day for the Gear or two days for the LG G watch. Additionally, the new Android Wear is compatible with only a few applications.

The Pebble Limited Edition is available exclusively from Pebble website here.
