Earlier HTC had released a teaser video for their event which will be taking place on the 8th of October. The event is called “Double Exposure” and thanks to the video, we caught a glimpse at what looked like a action camera-like device that is similar to the GoPro in terms of its abilities and functionality.
Unfortunately the video did not allow us to see much and the quality was a bit questionable, but thanks to a post on Reddit (via Android Police), new and clearer images have surfaced. Basically what the Reddit poster did was go through the promotional website in which he managed to nabbed the two photos you are seeing in the post.
The shape and design of the camera seems to be in line with the earlier video. As you can see in the image above, it seems that the camera could come with accessories that allows the user to mount it on the straps of their backpack, thus allowing them to walk around with the camera and record without having to use their hands.
The name of the camera has also possibly been revealed via its website and Twitter account which suggests that the device could be called the “RE Camera”. In any case all will most probably be revealed come 8th of October, so do check back with us then for the details. In the meantime what do you guys make of its possible design?
