fb-feedIt is no secret at all that Facebook is one of the most popular apps that you will find on tablets as well as smartphones, not to mention how it is accessed by your computer virtually each day at work, unless your workplace has extremely draconian restrictions when it comes to social networking at work. Having said that, too much of a good thing can be bad, which is why some of us might dread at going through our feeds, since it seems to be filled with various posts from your friends that do nothing but annoy you – including those online quizzes. Thankfully, Facebook has revealed a way for you to quit seeing them.

From now on, each time you make a selection to hide a story (this is easily done through clicking on the arrow that is located on the top right), you can also check out the request to see less from that particular person or Page. Heck, if you really do not want to know what is going on in the future, why not just unfollow them? Apart from that, a brand new News Feed setting will depict the top ranking people, Pages and Groups that have appeared – nay, intruded, in your feed over the previous week, giving you a better idea on whether you would like to unfollow them or not. Most importantly is, you will still remain ‘friends’ with those whom you have unfollowed. [Press Release]
