highscreen-ice2Now here is a smartphone that you might want to consider checking out just for the sake of curiosity – the Highscreen ICE 2 that hails from Russia. You might be interested to know that the Highscreen ICE 2 happens to be a product that hails from that of a legitimate company. In fact, this is a brand that Vobis of Germany has been working on, developing it in Russia for the better part of the past half decade, where among their products of choice include the likes of tablets, notebooks, and accessories.

The Highscreen ICE 2 will come with dual displays – sort of, anyway. The “second screen” is actually a tiny stripe which will be able to display information such as incoming calls, text messages, the time, weather updates, and notifications – think of the early handsets from Sony Ericsson that showed off just a single line of data, and you get the idea. It might be novel at first, but in this day and age when we are so used to large screen devices, this might not be the most practical of ideas.

Other hardware specifications of the Highscreen ICE 2 include a notification light, a 4.7” display at 720p resolution, a 1.7GHz MediaTek MT6592 processor, 2GB RAM, 16GB of internal memory, a 13MP camera at the back with a Sony sensor, and a 2MP selfie shooter, running on Android 4.4 KitKat as it arrives in white, blue, and gray shades.
