honor6plus-officialIt seems that at long last, the first dual camera phone from Huawei is finally realized after some time. Of course, we have seen some leaks of the handset before this, but the Huawei Honor 6 Plus is now official after an announcement over in Beijing. At last, the hardware specifications for this smartphone has been confirmed, where it will flaunt a 5.5″ 1080p display, an octa-core 1.8GHz Kirin 925 chipset complete with a dedicated image signal processor, accompanied by 3GB RAM, 32GB of internal memory, and just in case that is not enough, there is a microSD memory card slot for expansion purposes.

In addition, a 3,600mAh battery will run proceedings from within, where all of it are stashed into a chassis that measures 150.46mm x 75.68mm x 7.5mm. There will be a 5MP shooter right up in front of the Honor 6 Plus, where the rear will boast of a couple of shooters, which has been called “Symmetrical dual camera technology“. Capable of snapping 13MP quality shots, they actually comprise of a couple of 8MP sensors.

Any takers for this particular smartphone should you be able to wrap your fingers around it? It has been slapped with a 1999 yuan (approximately $323 after conversion) price tag for the 3G model, while the LTE model will cost 2499 yuan (around $403).
