uncarrier-8T-Mobile, the mobile carrier that prides itself in being the “Un-carrier”, intends to announce Un-carrier 8.0 tomorrow. According to T-Mobile CEO John Legere, this announcement of the Un-carrier 8.0 will take place at 10:30am EST on December 16th, where it will happen in a live webcast over on T-Mobile’s website. I am quite sure that the industry is abuzz with what T-Mobile has in store with Un-carrier 8.0, where it has been described to be “so big we had to keep it under wraps.”

Un-carrier 7.0 was introduced to the masses earlier this September, where it was known as “Wi-Fi un-leashed.” Back then (boy, time sure as heck passes by too quickly, doesn’t it?) T-Mobile did make mention that all smartphones sold to Simple Choice customers would be able to offer Wi-Fi calling and texting support. Apart from that, subscribers could also enjoy the luxury of a one-time swap to a smartphone that supports this initiative.

Not only that, free Wi-Fi calls to the U.S.from outside of the country is also part of the deal, making you enjoy your holidays abroad all the more. That is not all, though, as T-Mobile also introduced the T-Mobile Personal CellSpot, a device that allows those with a poor connection to the T-Mobile network at home to have something that is equated to that of a personal cell tower, so that the signal will be boosted. I am sure that many of us are all eyes and ears as to what Un-carrier 8.0 will bring tomorrow morning, so stay tuned.
