LG-G-Flex-2-09

About an hour back LG unveiled a new smartphone during its press conference at the International Consumer Electronics Show 2015. A couple of weeks back it was first rumored that the company would present a smartphone during this event. LG let this slip itself yesterday when posters were spotted in the main hallway. The LG G Flex 2 is now official and both AT&T and Sprint have confirmed that they will offer this smartphone to their customers.

This is the sequel to LG G Flex which was also carried by major mobile carriers in the country. Both AT&T and Sprint have confirmed that they will add the G Flex 2 to their lineup later this year but haven’t provided an exact release date, so we will have to wait for that information to come in.

Sprint was actually the first carrier to launch the original G Flex last year in the country, T-Mobile and AT&T followed later. This year Sprint has bagged exclusivity with the hottest color that LG G Flex 2 is available in. The “Volcano Red” color will be available only from Sprint so if you have got your eye on that you might have to consider switching carriers.

LG G Flex 2 has a 5.5-inch high-resolution P-OLED display, a Snapdragon 800 processor from Qualcomm, 13 megapixel rear camera with laser focus and more. Carriers will detail their pricing once they make the availability information public.
