nabi-elev8[CES 2015] There is always something special about the passing of a baton, and the same can be said of Fuhu with their next generation of nabi 3 tablet, which will continue from where the nabi 2 (as seen above) left off. The model in question would be the Elev8, and if you were to read the word and the number in quick succession without a pause in between, it would sound more like “elevate” – which could signal the intention of Fuhu in promoting edutainment tools among the little ones. The Elev8 will boast of a more generous 8” screen with 1280 x 800 resolution, where it will sport a 2MP front-facing shooter alongside an 8MP camera at the back, 16GB of internal memory, a faster and more powerful processor, while running on top of Fuhu’s very own Blue Morpho operating system overlay.

There will be more than 400 kid-focused experiences available, where this new sleeker, thinner frame design would also make the Elev8 to be an ideal tablet for one to grow up with. Of course, chances are you would need to introduce a new tablet a few years from now due to technological advances, but the Elev8 does look as though it is capable of holding its own for at least a couple of years – not to mention boasting of a child proof bumper on the device for added durability, which you can remove in due time.
