otterbox-resurgence[CES 2015] More often than not, compromises would have to be made when it comes to smartphone protection – whether you would like form or function. OtterBox, an old hand where protective cases are concerned for smartphones and the ilk, have decided to bridge the gap between power and protection, by offering the OtterBox Resurgence Power Case for iPhone 6. This is a newly designed case which would be able to provide additional juice when required – and then some, boasting military-grade drop protection to boot.

The OtterBox Resurgence would boast of 2,600 milliamp hours (mAh) of battery power, which on a full charge, would be able to providing over two times the battery life of the iPhone 6. Boasting of a two-piece snap design, case assembly and removal is easy peasy. Made out of a specially formulated polycarbonate, it can deliver improved impact resistance and can absorb energy from drops and bumps without missing a beat. Specially tested to meet MIL STD 810G-516.6 specifications, this new design also incorporates compact advanced circuitry.

Apart from that, the auto-stop technology makes sure that when your handset arrives at a full charge, it will shut off automatically – saving the extra battery juice for later. Wired and wireless syncing are both supported without having to remove the case, and it comes with a headphone jack extender too.
