SYBER Vapor Orange[CES 2015] Syber, which is a division of CyberPowerPC, has just announced a trio of new Vapor Models that have been released, kicking off Syber’s open platform PC gaming console line. In a nutshell, these offerings from Syber would target those who would want to “break out of the bedroom and into the comfort of the living room”, where it delivers plenty of bang for your hard earned buck.

The Syber Vapor PC gaming console range will run on SteamOS, which is a Linux-based operating system and produced by Valve. These Steam machines were manufactured in order to let you enjoy Linux games that can be downloaded via SteamOS. What then, would be the selling point of a Syber Vapor PC gaming console? It will roll out even before SteamOS is completed, going to show the kind of confidence that it has in the platform.

In fact, the Vapor will hook up via HDMI to your HDTV, where it will also sport 4K capabilities while running on Windows 8.1, which will send gamers straight into Steam’s Big Picture mode. This means this machine has a higher level of customization compared to regular consoles like the Wii U, Xbox One and PS4. The starting price point for the Vapor models stand at $549, where the Syber Vapor E will run on a quad-core AMD X4-740 and GeForce GTX 750 graphics.

As for the Syber Vapor P, this is an upgrade where it sports an Intel G3258 3.2GHz processor and AMD Radeon R9 270X graphics with a $649 price tag. Last but not least would be the Vapor K, where it will run on an Intel Core i5-4690K and NVIDIA GeForce GTX 970, breaking the $1,000 mark at $1099.
