The BQ Aquaris E4.5 Ubuntu Edition is certainly far from being a totally new device, since it has been out for some time already – although it carried the Android 4.4 KitKat mobile operating system at that point in time.

As the name of this particular handset reveals, it will carry a screen size of 4.5”, sporting qHD resolution on an IPS display with a pixel density of 244ppi. Apart from that, there will be a Mediatek chipset running underneath the hood, boasting of a 1.3GHz Cortex-A7 CPU, 1GB RAM, 8GB of internal memory which can be further augmented thanks to a microSD memory card slot, and of course, Dual SIM capability – so that you will be able to differentiate between your personal and corporate lives.

Battery capacity stands at 2,150mAh, where all of it has been crammed into a chassis that measures 137mm x 67mm x 9mm, tipping the scales at 123 grams. The asking price for this particular smartphone? €170 a pop sounds just about right.
