While games like Mortal Kombat are probably best played on consoles using gamepads, there are tons of gamers who wouldn’t mind playing it on their PC as well. Now if you were thinking about playing the upcoming Mortal Kombat X on your PC, you’re probably wondering if your rig can handle it, especially given just how good the game looks.

Thankfully a Steam listing  (via Destructoid) has revealed the minimum and recommended specs that you will need to have if you want to play the game. Starting with the minimum, NetherRealm is asking that you have an Intel Core i5-750 or AMD Phenom II X4 965 processor with 3GB of RAM, an NVIDIA GeForce GTX 460 or an AMD Radeon HD 5850 GPU, along with 25GB of HD space.

If you’d rather not run it at bare minimum specs, you will need an Intel Core i7-3770 or an AMD FX-8350 with 8GB of RAM, an NVIDIA GeForce GTX 660 or an AMD Radeon HD 7950 GPU, and 40GB of HD space along with DirectX version 11 (this applies to both the minimum and recommended specs).

The game has been scheduled for a release on the 14th of April and if you are interested in getting your hands on the game, you can go ahead and pre-purchase it on Steam right now.
