Samsung-galaxy-note-3-01

It seems today is a great day to be an AT&T subscriber, provided you own a Samsung Galaxy Note 4 or a Note 3 on the country’s second largest carrier. Earlier today the carrier released the much awaited Android 5.0 Lollipop update for the Galaxy Note 4. Now reports are coming in that AT&T has also released Lollipop for the Galaxy Note 3. The wait ends for those subscribers as well since they can now take advantage of all that Lollipop has to offer.

AT&T has started rolling out build LRX21V.N900AUCUE0C1 to Galaxy Note 3 owners over-the-air. It weighs around 1GB. Keep in mind that you would want to be connected to a good Wi-Fi network before downloading said update.

Galaxy Note 3 owners should also ensure that there’s a good amount of charge left in the device’s battery just so that it does not run out of juice when the update is either being downloaded or installed.

Since AT&T has just started rolling out this update over-the-air it might take a while before it goes live for everybody in the country. Some patience will be required if you’re wondering why the update notification hasn’t popped up yet on your device.

To manually check for the update, if you’re feeling so inclined, head over to the device’s settings menu, tap on the General tab followed by system update and update now.
