HTC’s new smartphone is one flagship that many Android enthusiasts were looking forward to at Mobile World Congress 2015 earlier this month. Now that it has formally been announced interested customers just have to wait for it to hit the market before they can pick one up. A report out of Taiwan confirms the HTC One M9 release date as well as its price.

The company has confirmed that its new flagship smartphone will first be released in its home country of Taiwan. Customers in the country will be able to purchase the HTC One M9 from March 16th, that’s tomorrow.

HTC also confirmed that the device will be available in two storage options, 32GB and 64GB, priced around $690 and $750 respectively. These prices apply to Taiwan only and are for unlocked and off-contract units.

It has not been announced as yet if the 32GB and 64GB models of this handset will be available in all markets across the globe or whether HTC is keeping the latter exclusive to Taiwan only.

Moreover the company has not revealed precisely when the HTC One M9 will be released in markets other than its home country. It has said that the handset will arrive in other countries shortly after the release in Taiwan on March 16th.
