mercedez-f105-ces2015Mercedes-Benz, the German automaker that has come up with their fair share of stunning automobiles in the past, certainly blew the crowd away yet again earlier this year at CES 2015 in Las Vegas, where they showed off their prototype F015 driverless car. We did shortlist this cool looking ride that looked as though it had a design which hailed from the world of science fiction, and here are more details on it.

It looks as though the folks over at Mercedes have not stopped working on the development of the F015 “Luxury in Motion” prototype self-driving car, where members of the press were invited recently to take a ride in it. The F105 boasts of an elongated body with bay doors, in addition to luxurious white leather interior, swivel seats and touch screen displays.

Since this is a self driving car (an idea that certainly has sent insurance companies scurrying), passengers will be able to concentrate on other tasks while they commute to work – at least once the novelty wears off, and not having a human chauffeur in the front seat no longer bothers the masses. Do bear in mind that this is still a prototype, which means it cannot be driven legally on the road, so it is more of an inspiration for future rides than anything else.
