The Sony Xperia Z4 still does not have a specific launch date but so far we have been treated to various leaks of the handset, giving us a glimpse as to what the handset might look like. Now we know that cameras on smartphones are important and if you’re wondering how the upcoming Sony Xperia Z4 might fare, an alleged sample photo taken by the handset’s camera has surfaced online.
The image is the one you see above which we guess is rather nondescript. It’s basically just a shot of the scenery although its EXIF data made mention to a particular Sony model “E6553” which is basically the Sony Xperia Z4, assuming that Sony is keeping to their naming scheme/model numbers.
From what we can tell, the photo isn’t particularly impressive but at the same time it’s not too shabby either. There is a good chance that the photo was taken using a prototype of the handset, not to mention the software on the phone has yet to be fully tweaked to take advantage of the camera’s hardware, so the image you see above might not be an accurate representation of the final thing.
So far in terms of specs, we have heard that the Sony Xperia Z4 will feature a 5.2-inch Full HD display. It is also rumored to be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 processor with 4GB of RAM, a 20.7MP rear-facing camera, a 5MP front-facing camera, and chances are it will receive the same IP68 certification as previous Xperia Z devices.
