Daredevil, also known as the man without fear, is the hero of Hell’s Kitchen, and he is set to announce his presence to the world through Netflix, the streaming service, this coming 10th of April. This will be no movie at all, but rather, it will be a TV series that would see Charlie Cox star as the protagonist, Matt Murdock. Murdock was doused with chemicals as a boy, rendering his sight useless, but it has also enhanced the rest of his senses to hit super-human levels. Needless to say, he would need to have a mysterious master known as Stick to teach him the ropes of being a superhero, honing his remaining senses and bringing his athletic prowess to peak level.

Do expect Vincent D’Onofrio’s portrayal as Wilson Fisk, also known as the Kingpin of Crime, to be one that is riveting, as these two basically signify the good and evil of Hell’s Kitchen, and then some. This is part of Marvel and Netflix’s joint venture which was first announced in 2013, where the is the intention to roll out five original shows. Daredevil will get the ball rolling this April, and that will be followed up with A.K.A. Jessica Jones sometime down the road in 2015.

Exciting times sure are ahead of TV viewers, this is for sure! It is time to grab the popcorn, sit back, and enjoy the show.
