There is good news today for Destiny fans. The title’s publisher, Activision, has confirmed today that the second DLC expansion for this game is coming soon. The Destiny House of Wolves expansion release comes nearly five months after the first, called The Dark Below, was released back in December last year. Activision had previously said that it would release the second expansion during the second quarter of the new year.

House of Wolves is the second and last DLC expansion for Destiny. Those who own the $34.99 Expansion Pass will get it for free when it arrives, separately the two expansions cost $19.99 a piece.

The new expansion might send players to the Reef that’s located in the Asteroid Belt. It will basically be a social area where Guardians can hang out, kind of like the Tower in The Last City on Earth.

Previous leaks suggest that there might also be a new Awoken storyline and a third raid. A new Fallen strike and three new Crucible maps are also expected to be included in this expansion.

After House of Wolves, Destiny developer Bungie is going to roll out a “major content release” for the title at some point later this year. It is not known right now what might be included in that release.

Destiny House of Wolves expansion release date has been confirmed today, the new expansion will arrive on May 19th.
