htc-one-m9-live-3It is not too long ago that HTC started to ship pre-orders of their flagship smartphone, the HTC One M9, but it seems that the proverbial Murphy and his dreaded law has struck yet again, with the Taiwanese company running into some issues that ultimately resulted in delayed shipment for select users. Needless to say, customers are not too happy about such a development, and HTC intends to soothe frayed nerves by offering a 25% discount from its range of accessories from the HTC Store.

Do you think that this olive branch will be able to placate the anger of those who were looking forward to playing with the HTC One M9 in their hands? Apparently, this 25% discount will only be applicable to those who are experiencing delayed shipments, and it is not a blanket license for everyone who placed a pre-order for the handset to enjoy such a discount.

I am not too sure whether this gesture is enough though, as giving a free protective case might be a better idea – on top of a discount from HTC’s collection of accessories, of course. What do you think would be a better way to resolve this issue with all parties walking away from it happy and contented?
