With every flagship release, Samsung creates a new design for their phones. There are many who love Samsung’s designs and it seems that one of them would be Huawei, so much so that the Chinese company is reportedly trying to steal Samsung’s employees away from them. This is according to a report from the Korea Times who claims that Huawei is trying to lure Samsung’s high-level designers and technicians to work for them.
Huawei is said to have offered these designers and technicians more money to work for the company as well as giving them higher positions within Huawei. It is also rumored that these employees, if they were to sign with Huawei, would also be given more independence at work which could prove to be fruitful for these employees looking to pursue their own projects which at the same time could result in something beneficial to Huawei as well, kind of like what’s been done at companies such as Google and Microsoft.
That being said Huawei’s phones aren’t particularly bad looking, however they aren’t exactly amazing either. Huawei’s handsets tend to feature pretty clean designs but it seems that they’re looking to shake things up a bit by hiring Samsung’s designers and technicians. Neither company has commented on the rumor just yet so take it with a grain of salt for now, but with Huawei products potentially sporting Samsung design language, would that make it more appealing to you?
