Why Buy A $10,000 Gold Apple Watch When You Can Get A Gold Plated One For $1,000

Apple is the only company out there that’s selling a solid gold smartwatch. The gold Apple Watch is understandably very expensive, it can cost more than $10,000 and that’s not what the average user is going to spend on a smartwatch. This is probably why only a handful of Apple stores are selling this model any way since the company knows only selected customers will purchase it. The company isn’t offering a gold color option for people who don’t want to pay for the precious metal but there’s a company out there that’s offering a gold-plated Apple Watch for a fraction of the cost.

If you’re so bent on purchasing a gold Apple Watch but don’t want to spend more than $10,000 on one, the consider what Vietnamese luxury vendor Karalux is offering.

Yes this is the same company that recently debuted gold-plated Galaxy S6 and S6 Edge, the company has given the same treatment to iPads in the past.

Karalux is selling a 38mm Apple Watch with stainless steel covered in 18K gold with a black or white sports band for $1,000. Those who want the 42mm model will have to pay $400 extra but it still beats paying more than $10,000.

Obviously it won’t be solid gold like the real deal, but its not like everybody can tell the difference between gold-plating and solid gold from a distance. If appearances matter, this is your best option for a gold Apple Watch without breaking the bank.
