According to a post by @ParrotSWD on X (formerly known as Twitter), Apple may be working on an affordable version of the Watch Ultra (or the Watch Ultra 2). The post includes images of a smartwatch resembling the Watch Ultra, claiming that Apple has submitted these images to the FCC. Two key differences suggest that this may be an affordable variant of the Watch Ultra.

Firstly, the action button on the smartwatch has a slightly different design compared to the Watch Ultra, appearing to be made of plastic, indicating a more budget-friendly version. Secondly, the back panel of the wearable is finished in black, distinct from the Watch Ultra models but similar to the Watch Series models, further hinting at an affordable iteration.

Although there is currently no information on the name or model number of this smartwatch, speculation suggests it could be named the Watch Ultra SE (aligning with Apple’s naming convention used for the iPhone SE). The prototype displayed in the images appears distinct from merely being an alternative color variant of the Watch Ultra 2.

As of now, without additional information, it remains speculative, and further details are needed to make accurate predictions about the potential release and features of this purported affordable Apple Watch variant.
