nokia-lumia-920-review-006We can only assume that Microsoft is working on new Lumia handsets that they plan on announcing at a later date. Unfortunately we can’t be sure exactly what models they are working on, but if a recent GFXBench sighting is to be believed, it seems that Microsoft has a 5.2-inch Lumia handset in the works.

According to the benchmark, it hints that a certain RM-1106 handset is being tested and based on the tests, it has been revealed that the device will feature a 5.2-inch Full HD 1080p display. That alone seems to suggest that we could be looking a upper mid-range model and thanks to its Snapdragon 808 processor, it looks like this phone is no slouch either.

Oddly enough the benchmark lists its GPU as the Adreno 430 which is a mistake since the Snapdragon 808 is supposed to sport the Adreno 418, so either this was a mistake in the entry or we could be looking at a fake. Other specs revealed by the benchmark includes 1.5GB of RAM, 32GB of onboard storage, NFC connectivity, and a 17MP rear-facing camera along with a 5MP front-facing camera.

Like we said chances are it is either an upper mid-range handset or a high-end handset, depending on how Microsoft plans on positioning it. However its specs are different from the rumored Lumia 940 and Lumia 940 XL specs we saw recently so there is a good chance it isn’t a flagship handset, but either way we’ll be keeping an eye out for more details about the alleged device.
