Fujifilm-X-T1-camera-leakThe Fujifilm X-T1 is one of the better and more underrated mirrorless cameras around, especially when you have companies such as Sony constantly advertising their cameras everywhere. While the camera is pretty decent, there are probably some things and improvements that photographers would like to see in its successor.

This then begs the question, when will we see the Fujifilm X-T2? Considering the X-T1 was announced just last year, a successor will not be announced so soon. According to the folks at Fuji Rumors, they have learnt from one of their sources that the X-T2 could be announced a few months after the X-Pro2.

Earlier there was a rumor that the X-Pro2 could be announced in the later part of the year, and if their sources are to be believed, the X-T2’s announcement could take place 2-4 months after that X-Pro2. No specific dates were mentioned but if we’re talking later part of the year, there is a good chance that the X-T2 could see a 2016 launch.

This could make sense as it would allow the X-T1 to stick around a bit longer and sell more units before a successor is released. Unfortunately not much is known about what kind of features we can expect from the X-T2, but in the meantime what sort of features or improvements would you like to see Fujifilm make to the camera?
