Previous reports have mentioned that HTC is planning a new hero device for the later part of 2015 dubbed the HTC Aero. Now thanks to additional rumors, we have some potential specs of the handset which should give us a better clue as to what to expect, beyond the descriptions of “awesome” and “groundbreaking”.
According to the rumors, it seems that the HTC Aero will pack one heck of a display. It will sport a QHD resolution and will also come with Gorilla Glass 4, meaning that the phone should be more than capable of taking a couple of drops and scratches. It is also rumored to sport a 2.5D glass meaning that it should sport a rather interesting design overall.
Those are some of the specs that we have heard about the rumored device to date. Previously an earlier rumor suggested that the phone might come with a “groundbreaking” camera, although what exactly that entails is really anyone’s guess. It is also rumored to make its way onto Sprint’s network which we suppose is good news for those looking forward to it.
In any case we’re hoping that we might hear more from HTC in the near future, but in the meantime if these rumors are to be believed, it certainly sounds like it is shaping up to be quite a pretty impressive device, which will hopefully bring HTC back into the spotlight.
