black ops 3_Last week Call of Duty: Black Ops 3’s multiplayer beta went live for PlayStation 4 owners who pre-ordered the game, although the folks at Treyarch decided to open it up to all PS4 gamers later on. However the beta has been scheduled to end on the 23rd of August, which was yesterday meaning that if you didn’t get in on it, you were out of luck.

Or at least that’s what you think because according to a recent tweet by Treyarch on Twitter, it seems that they have decided to extend the beta by one day. According to their tweet, the beta will now end of the 24th of August, which is today, but it will only end at 10PM PDT meaning that if you don’t have work or if you want to call in a sick day, you will have pretty much the whole day to enjoy it.

However given that it is a beta, chances are your experience might not be 100% optimal, but if you’re a hardcore fan of the series and are looking forward to Black Ops 3, which will be released on the 6th of November, then we reckon it should still be pretty fun. As for gamers on the PC or Xbox One, your multiplayer beta is expected to begin on the 26th of August.

It is unclear if Treyarch will take the same route and open it up to all gamers in the later part of the beta, so we guess we’ll just have to keep an eye out for it.
