It has been a good week for Star Wars fans because there has been a lot of news about this infamous franchise, the official poster for the new Star Wars film is out and Disney has revealed that it’s building massive Star Wars-themed worlds in two parks in the US. There’s more! Sony has revealed that a limited edition Darth Vader-inspired PlayStation 4 and DualShock 4 controller will be released this November.
The release of this limited edition console and controller is timed with the release of Star Wars Battlefront and Disney Infinity 3.0, the console was unveiled at Disney’s D23 Expo where PlayStation’s Adam Boyes explained who it will be bundled with Star Wars games.
Darth Vader PS4 and DualShock 4 will come bundled with Star Wars Battlefront and Disney Infinity 3.0, even though the latter releases on August 28th the bundle won’t be available for purchase until November 17th which the day Star Wars Battlefront is released for consoles and PC.
This bundle will include deluxe edition of EA’s Star Wars game and vouchers for four Star Wars games: Super Star Wars, Star Wars: Racer Revenge, Star Wars: Jedi Starfighter and Star Wars Bounty Hunter. These titles will be available on PS4 with enhancements like improved graphics and Trophy support.
Darth Vader PS4 bundle with Disney Infinity 3.0 is exclusive to Wal-mart and it will have the Disney Infinity 3.0: Star Wars Edition PlayStation Exclusive Hardware Bundle Kit which brings Obi-Wan Kenobi, Princess Leia and Boba Fett figures as well as the title, base station and vouchers for the aforementioned titles. No pricing details have been revealed.
