Lumia_950XL_1While the Lumia 950 and 950 XL smartphones are a pretty decent effort by Microsoft in creating a flagship device, it seems that it still wasn’t enough to convince customers to hop on board the Windows 10 Mobile bandwagon, that and its price which is around a typical flagship price meaning that there are probably more than a few who can’t afford it.

That being said if you are after the Lumia 950 or Lumia 950 XL but price was one of the prohibiting factors, word on the street has it that Microsoft could be getting ready to launch a buy-one-get-one deal for the Lumia 950 and 950 XL. The rumors are claiming that the offer is expected to kick off on the 25th of April with an announcement scheduled for later today, although we haven’t seen anything yet.

Details are scarce but basically it sounds like a pretty standard offer. We’re not sure if Microsoft themselves will be making this offer or if they will be relying on their carrier partners to make the offer. It is also unclear as to what kind of catch there might be attached to this offer, but either way if it is true, it sounds like it could be a pretty decent deal. Either way take it with a grain of salt, but we’ll keep an eye out for more details.
