starbucks_for_androidWe’re sure many of us have stood in line at Starbucks to place an order, only to have the person in front of us rattle off some long and complicated order, only for the barista to get it wrong meaning we would have to wait for them to re-do it again. Now the good news is that for Android users, you guys can use the mobile order feature.

The feature was launched for the iPhone a while ago and was only available on Android in certain parts of the country, but if you did not live in those places, you’re in luck as the feature has been enabled nationwide. In fact it would seem that it surprised analysts as many had initially expected the feature to be rolled out during the holiday season.

For those unfamiliar with the feature, basically you can place an order on your mobile phone via the Starbucks app and pay for it, thus letting them skip the queue and ensure that the barista has their order down to a T. At least that way any issues that you might encounter will not be because the cashier forgot your order.

According to Adam Brotman, the executive in charge of Starbucks’ digital efforts, the feature has been well-received by both their customers and their employees. “The rollout has gone better than we expected.” If you have yet to download the Starbucks app for Android, then just pop on over to the Google Play Store to get your hands on it.
