polaroid_snapBack in the day before digital cameras became so widely adopted, Polaroid cameras were a pretty huge deal due to their ability to print photos on the fly. This is versus more traditional film cameras where you’d either have to develop it yourself, or take it to the shop where you’d have to wait a few days for them to be developed and printed.

Fast forward to today, such cameras are no longer needed, but they are still a novelty and if you’re after something similar, you’re in luck thanks to a camera called the Snap. This is a Polaroid made camera that has been designed by Ammunition, which for those unfamiliar was also behind the design of products by Adobe, Beats by Dre, Square, Lyft, and so on.

The printer will be able to instantly spit out photos you’ve snapped using its Zero Ink printing technology. However its prints are pretty small as they measure 2-inches by 3-inches, but they should be good enough to stick on the fridge or slot into your purse or wallet for nostalgic purposes.

It isn’t particularly expensive either as it is priced at $99 and has been pegged for a release later this year, and will come with features like a selfie timer and filter presets, along with a microSD card slot that will store the images for you.
