fallout shelter halloweenHalloween is nearly upon us and as we have expected, game developers out there are busy pushing out Halloween-themed updates to their games. For example earlier this week there were rumors that GTA Online could get a Halloween update, and let’s not forget that games like World of Warcraft run their own Halloween events as well.

This is why it does not come as a surprise to learn that Bethesda has flipped the switch for Fallout Shelter, giving the game a Halloween-themed update. As you can see in the image above, basically there will be some changes made to certain sections of your Vault, like the Cafeteria and the Barracks where there will now be Halloween items like pumpkins, skeletons, bats, cobwebs, and more.

There are also Halloween-themed costumes like a ghost costume which according to one user, they found it inside a Lunchbox which can be earned by either paying for it, or by completing objectives. We’re not sure if some of the costumes/items found will remain after Halloween is over (we’re hoping it will), but either way it is still pretty cool.

If you have yet to get your hands on Fallout Shelter, the game has been released for both iOS and Android devices, so head on over to your respective app stores to check it out.
