AT&T has made several announcements today covering smartphones and smartwatches, the latest announcement has to do with HTC’s newest flagship device the HTC One A9. AT&T has now confirmed that the HTC One A9 will be available for purchase starting November 6th, the very same date that it’s going to release the BlackBerry Priv, BlackBerry’s first Android-powered smartphone.

HTC One A9 features a 5 inch full HD AMOLED display, under the hood there’s a Qualcomm Snapdragon 617 processor with 3GB RAM. On the back there’s a 13 megapixel camera with dual LED flash, 24 bit high-resolution sound and a microSD card slot, aside from a fingerprint scanner.

It’s not one that has compete against the likes of the Galaxy Note 5 or the LG G4 when you come down to specifications alone, but perhaps HTC is relying on the fact that the smartphone’s design coupled with the fact that it comes with Android 6.0 Marshmallow preinstalled will be enough to entice people to spend their money on it.

AT&T is going to sell the HTC One A9 for $99 with a conventional two year service contract, the handset will also be available for purchase on the carrier’s Next plans for $17.34 per month on Next 24, $21.67 on Next 18 and $26 on Next 12. Customers can choose between Carbon Gray and Opal Silver color options.
